If you’ve followed the instructions we’ve provided and find that your culture isn't working properly within 60 days of purchasing, please contact our customer support department. We’re here to help you troubleshoot because that's part of the learning process! Culturing takes practice, just like anything else.

If there’s a problem with the product, we’ll send you a replacement free of charge.

Help! My culture isn’t working.

The most common thing preventing your culture from working properly is the temperature. Here are some ideas on how to keep your culture nice and warm.

Contact us within 60 days of purchase and include a description of the problems you’re experiencing. If possible, send us a photo of your culture. We may ask you some general questions about how you’ve been caring for it. This will help us determine what may be preventing your culture from living its best life.

If there’s a problem with our product, we’ll send you a replacement free of charge.

My product is expired / damaged

If you received an expired product or it was damaged during shipping, reach out to us within 60 days of your purchase and we will send you a replacement free of charge.

I ordered the wrong item

Contact us as soon as possible. In most cases, if your order hasn’t shipped yet we are able to cancel it and refund the cost of your purchase back to the original payment method.

I changed my mind

We accept returns of unopened and unused products within 60 days of purchase. Contact us to request a return shipping address. Customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Once we have received your return, we will refund the cost of your purchase back to the original payment method.

Can I go on vacation while caring for my culture?

We recommend not taking breaks during activation, but yes, you can take a vacation! Click here to find more information on your specific culture.
