Pro Tip Corner

The Greek Yogurt Starter Culture is an heirloom-style culture. Unlike direct-set starter cultures, which are single-use cultures (1 packet of starter can make 1 batch of yogurt), an heirloom culture is re-usable, meaning, that with the proper care, you can use it to make batch after batch of yogurt - indefinitely!

Works great!

I haven’t even needed the second packet yet (it’s waiting in my freezer for the day I either decide to keep a second starter or ruin the first one). Yogurt comes out a little gritty and a little runny, but I think that’s down to my heating the milk too fast and having grocery-store expectations, respectively. Tastes tangy & delicious and it works every time!

I love it

You used to sell a culture that had 3 different cultures. I don't remember the name, but I couldn't find it anywhere 2 years ago. I thought I would settle for the Greek culture because I really like a thick yogurt that is naturally thick. I make mine with sheep milk and you can turn the opened jar, I make it is quart or half gallon jars, upside down and it doesn't budge. Rich, creamy and it makes great Lebneh cheese. Thank you!

Bright and Cheery Yogurt!!!

Over the years, I've read that homemade yogurt is "so much better" than store-bought yogurt. I couldn't have imagined what that "so much better" taste would be. Well, enter the Cultures for Health Greek Yogurt!! I made my first batch, and right out of the gate, it's so bright and cheery!! Now I'm wincing at the kind of "dead" taste of store-bought. Thank you Cultures for Health!!! I'm sold!!!

Yummy Greek Yogurt

This yogurt is delicious. I mix it with fresh fruit and homemade granola for a quick breakfast or snack. I also use in place of buttermilk in baking. Mine set perfectly the first try. Almost ready to make my second batch!
