I tried making vegan yogurt from various recipes found online in the past. The results ranged from total failure to barely passable. I found the Cultures for Health mentioned on some vegan blogs and came here and read about it. I have now made 5 batches using this culture, the vegan yogurt recipe posted here and my own homemade soy milk. It has turned out perfectly every time.
I don’t use a yogurt maker, instead I use a proofer to ensure the temperature remains a constant 110F. If you like to make yogurt and bread from scratch frequently it is a worthwhile investment.

I make yogurt in my instant pot with organic, unsweetened soy milk and this culture. That’s it! No pectin, no agar. Just 15 hours on the yogurt setting and the yogurt is creamy and perfect and makes amazing raita.
I use Edensoy soy milk and the cultures to make yogurt in the Instant Pot. It's the only only that works.
I bought this because I have lactose intolerance, and several other people have dairy allergies in my house. I made it with coconut milk and the recommended pectin. This starter makes the best yogurt ever. It was creamy, thick and very tasty. I definitely recommend it, and will buy it again.
