What Our Customers Are Saying
I have been making kombucha for over a year now, but wanted to start again with 2 new SCOBYs since mine had been sitting for over 6 months. (I know those were probably fine, but when I brewed again my kombucha was yeast-ier than I desired.) These new mothers got things going again!
The directions are really clear and easy to follow. I have made my first batch and can not wait for the second. Love that your company offers more ideas on their website.
I bought this 2 years ago and since then it has propagated and fathered many more cultures. It has produced hundreds of gallons of Komboucha for my family and friends
I am very pleased. This culture worked much faster than the you-tube DIY homemade cultures and I think the flavor is better from this "boughten culture"
Do you throw away the batch 2& 3 because on white vinegar .. I was in hospital so never put vinegar on coffee filter
I’ve brewed the first batch of kombucha using the glass jar from CFH, and a kombucha SCOBY from CFH, following the directions that came with the SCOBY. I’m on the second jar now and followed directions for the second fermentation of the 1st batch. The large batch tastes good and was in the right ph range after about 30 days, but we weren’t able to create the fizziness on second fermentation. I’m hoping now that the SCOBY is reconstituted and growing, things will change with the second fermentation of the next batch.
Following the instructions 100% has brought me an endless supply of Kombucha. I now have 4 very active SCOBYs growing and after my next batch I will be starting my SCOBY hotel. I've already saved so much money making my own and the flavors and possibilities are truly endless. I definitely prefer to use organic sugar and green tea instead of black tea. Thank you for yet another wonderful starter to add to my collection.
Easy to use for first timer. Love my tea, is better than soda.
