What Our Customers Are Saying
I have not worked with sourdough starters before. I needed a gluten-free version, and this one has worked well for me. I use it to make mini-loaves of gluten-free sourdough bread and sourdough pancakes. The instructions, hints and helps on the website are very informative and helpful, too. Well worth the purchase!
I'm still amazed that you can make sourdough with rice flour! It activated beautifully especially when I started weighing the ingredients instead of measuring. I have made the "GF Sourdough Naan" and the "Everyday Sandwich Bread" recipes on this website. They both turned out great!
I love this culture! My starter is pretty robust, just feeding once a week and leave in the fridge. The "waste" amount at feeding I activate and make pancakes, waffles, bread, cakes, etc. It is delicious and very versatile.
Gluten free sourdough! Great starter, have used it to make crackers and pretzel balls. Very tasty!
The beat we’ve ever had. Very simple instructions and delicious! I highly recommend this product!
Growing my sourdough worked great, and I have made a loaf every week for a couple months now. I made my own gf flour blend, and I slowly transitioned my starter from organic brown rice flour to my flour blend and it is still growing great. My family loves eating sourdough again and I even have enough starter to make extra loaves for my gluten free parents.
One member of our family has an allergy to wheat, and we were excited to finally be able to make sourdough that she can eat. The flavor is good, and the bread we have made is really tasty. (We did use egg replacer instead of the eggs called for, in the recipe, and it worked fine.) We are very happy with this and highly recommend it.
Loved the pancakes also!
I purchased this product because I wanted to learn how to work with sourdough and I am visiting my mom who has celiac. The directions were very clear and easy to follow and the recipes I have tried so far are delicious! I don't usually like gluten-free breads, but I am enjoying these.
